Grati-Tuesday

Dallas and I checked off one of the things on our bucket list on Friday when we went to the top of the parking garage and made out…took these gorgeous pictures at sunset! 😉 The sunsets are definitely one of the best things about Southern Utah.

Today and the past couple of days I have been grateful for family, deep/real conversations, Christ’s gospel, and Dallas. This weekend we took a trip up north to visit my family, and it was a really good and meaningful trip.

Coincidentally it was Valentines Day, and I got to spend time with the people I love.

But more than that, I was able to have grown-up conversations and bond with my family and Dallas, more than I ever have before. Sometimes, we are most afraid to be our vulnerable, authentic selves for the people we are closest to and love the most. It is an extremely hard thing to do, but it is very worth it.

Even with all of their weaknesses, flaws, and quirks, I am grateful for the family that I was blessed with. The whole reason we are put on this earth together is to help each other, and I am glad to be stuck with such a great bunch of people.

What are you grateful for? Please, share in the comments!
