Mrs. Fields Cookies

I have made these chocolate chip cookies since I was 9 years old and they are literally the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever made. The cookie dough is the best, and after you cook them (if they make it that far) the cookies are just as good as the dough! My mom doesn’t quite remember where we got the recipe from, so it’s probably from heaven since none of the recipes online are like this one.

The recipe is huge, so since I don’t have my mom’s giant Bosch to mix it in I haven’t made it a whole lot. The recipe calls for 3 eggs and I never thought about cutting the recipe in half. Then a few days ago, my genius husband told me I just needed to cut the recipe in half and use 2 eggs instead of 3!! I knew I married him for something. 😉

Guys. Seriously. Make these cookies. If you don’t want to make the huge batch, just cut all of the ingredients in half and use 2 eggs instead of 3. The cookies in the pictures are from a half batch.

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
6 cups flour
16 oz. chocolate chips

Directions

Mix eggs, brown sugar, sugar, and butter. Add vanilla, baking soda, salt, flour, and chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes.
