Grati-Tuesday

This past week I have been really grateful for the internet. Let me explain.

Since we’ve been married our diet has consisted of tortillas, chicken, black beans, tomatoes…basically, we ate Mexican food in different forms (which is all Mexican food is, right?). Oh, and ice cream.

For the past few months, though, I have had the hardest time eating. I wasn’t eating as much as I used to, and I was loosing my appetite a lot. I think it was my body telling me, “Eat something else for heaven’s sake!”

This was really hard for me to change, considering my grocery list has been the same for like… 2 years. But I knew we needed to do something, or I was probably just going to live off of ice cream instead.

So since last Monday we have been planning our meals (NEW meals) out for the week. Yes, that is all I can handle right now. You people who plan meals out a month in advance have superpowers.

Online recipes have been my go-to because I can see pictures, reviews, and what other people have suggested to change.

Guys. Can you remember or imagine what it was like before the internet and having to come up with new meals yourself?? Some of you actually had to do that! And I completely respect you for that.

Online recipes have seriously saved my life. Thank you Internet!
